Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1380, VIP seats: 120) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cedric Puckett made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Drew Aguilar in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duncan Miner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Port Carbon FC's Duncan Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drew Aguilar in the 7th minute of play. Sylvester Jarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Duncan Miner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Graham McClure got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerald Fritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Miner having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Drew Aguilar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duncan Miner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Duncan Miner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylvester Jarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Drew Aguilar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duncan Miner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerald Fritz in the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Gerald Fritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. blitzzz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerald Fritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Port Carbon FC defense, Drew Aguilar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duncan Miner. The Port Carbon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duncan Miner should have stopped the shot. Gerald Fritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Duncan Miner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Port Carbon FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Strong. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Drew Aguilar put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Duncan Miner. After the first half blitzzz were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Drew Aguilar to make the kick off. If Drew Aguilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerald Fritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Miner having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Port Carbon FC's Markus Hester got a free kick in the 55th minute. Sylvester Jarrell struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Duncan Miner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for blitzzz. When Jesse Guy fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Port Carbon FC's protests and gave Jesse Guy a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot 60 in the game by Drew Aguilar from a close distance when the talented Duncan Miner managed to make a qualified save. Port Carbon FC's players were relieved. The supporters of Port Carbon FC booed when blitzzz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drew Aguilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drew Aguilar might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duncan Miner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Drew Aguilar ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Port Carbon FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Randolph Meyer hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, Port Carbon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Pitts to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Young Bustamante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliott Paquette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Graham McClure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drew Aguilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Duncan Miner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Gerald Fritz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Drew Aguilar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Duncan Miner made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Drew Aguilar sent off a good shot on target. blitzzz's Drew Aguilar got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 95 in the game by Drew Aguilar from a close distance when the talented Duncan Miner managed to make a qualified save. Port Carbon FC's players were relieved. Markus Hester hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over blitzzz could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Port Carbon FC throughout the match.
