Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1380, VIP seats: 120) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cedric Puckett kicked off to start the match. Duncan Miner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bronson Underwood in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Carlo Ray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Miner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Ray in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duncan Miner saved Port Carbon FC from getting behind. 9 minutes into the game, Donovan Mann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Chicago's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Port Carbon FC the free kick. In the 9th match minute, FC Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donovan Mann to maneuver through the defense. Dalton Massey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedric Puckett in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Carlo Ray managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Chicago's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Ray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duncan Miner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cedric Puckett struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Dalton Massey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Port Carbon FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Cedric Puckett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Port Carbon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cedric Puckett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalton Massey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markus Hester during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Port Carbon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Hester to maneuver through the defense. Cliff Love kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Young Bustamante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalton Massey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cedric Puckett in the 40th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Young Bustamante got free with Dalton Massey in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Markus Hester hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bronson Underwood was the one to do the kick off. Port Carbon FC's Duncan Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bronson Underwood in the 53rd minute of play. Cedric Puckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute of the match Frank Palmer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalton Massey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cedric Puckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalton Massey having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Bronson Underwood kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Duncan Miner. That made the score 1-1 in the 72 minute of play. Carlo Ray scored 1-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duncan Miner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Young Bustamante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalton Massey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedric Puckett in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, FC Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Cedric Puckett came free, but Dalton Massey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Young Bustamante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dalton Massey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Grady Larkin fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Chicago's protests and gave Grady Larkin a yellow card for diving instead. Grady Larkin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Cedric Puckett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalton Massey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The FC Chicago supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Chicago would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
