Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stark FC's Warren Crenshaw started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Bryan Powers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wellford AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stark FC the free kick. Bryan Powers kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Stark FC's Freddy Proctor threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Warren Crenshaw, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 29 minutes into the match, Stark FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Levy came free, but Byron Chen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Stark FC defense, Rey Boston kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Byron Chen. The Stark FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Byron Chen should have stopped the shot. After having played for 37 minutes, Arturo Potter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stark FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Potter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Levy in the 39th minute of play forced Stark FC's goalkeeper Byron Chen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Stark FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Powers came free, but Byron Chen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Byron Chen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antony Cooke, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Stark FC's Byron Chen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Bravo in the 46th minute of play. Eric Levy's late challenge caught a Stark FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Levy helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes Wellford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eric Levy. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Levy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Wellford AFC booed when Stark FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donny Deal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jermaine Woodward took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Byron Chen. Stark FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eric Levy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Byron Chen came out and tried to block the shot, but Eric Levy slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 56th minute. Byron Chen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Bravo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Eric Levy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Byron Chen. The goal made the score 0-4. Antony Cooke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Levy in the 73rd minute of play forced Stark FC's goalkeeper Byron Chen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes Stark FC got a freekick which was hit by Donny Deal. When Jermaine Woodward came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Wellford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jermaine Woodward couldn't finish the play. Raul Bravo scored 0-5 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Byron Chen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Arturo Potter notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Wellford AFC's Freddy Proctor. Freddy Proctor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute of the match Christopher Snyder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Byron Chen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Byron Chen made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Raul Bravo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Warren Crenshaw in the 90th minute of play forced Wellford AFC's goalkeeper Freddy Proctor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Everett Louis came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Wellford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everett Louis couldn't finish the play. Wellford AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
