In the 35th minute Gerald Mock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Ruff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Ruff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald Mock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerald Mock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Ruff having to interfere. In the 48thth minute of the game Tracey Bland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nicollet FC's Eusebio Ruff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Gerald Mock made the kick off in the second half. Jerrod Fleming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Thomason in the 53rd minute of play. The Nicollet FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PRAIA GRANDE S.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
