In the 11th minute, Green Victory FC's Willis Weaver dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Wellford AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Willis Weaver fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Eric Levy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Jonah Hare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Victory FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonah Hare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Proctor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jonah Hare ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddy Proctor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonah Hare in the 96th minute of the match. Green Victory FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
