Byron Chen came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by PRAIA GRANDE S.C's Tracey Bland. But to his dismay, Tracey Bland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Stark FC's Byron Chen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tracey Bland in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Stark FC booed when PRAIA GRANDE S.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tracey Bland didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in PRAIA GRANDE S.C's zone, Warren Crenshaw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerrod Fleming came out of the goal and Warren Crenshaw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes PRAIA GRANDE S.C got a freekick which was hit by Danial Walls. After having played for 26 minutes, Warren Crenshaw managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tad Corona's late challenge caught a Stark FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Warren Crenshaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes PRAIA GRANDE S.C got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Boyle. Byron Chen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tracey Bland in the 43rd minute of play. With a little luck, PRAIA GRANDE S.C's Jerrod Fleming got control of the ball when Arturo Potter tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Stark FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PRAIA GRANDE S.C were winning 0-1.
