Raul Bravo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Duncan Miner made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Port Carbon FC's Randolph Meyer got a free kick in the 12th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Raul Bravo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wellford AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Bravo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duncan Miner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Levy in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Port Carbon FC's Duncan Miner got control of the ball when Raul Bravo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Young Bustamante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Proctor having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Bryan Powers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Young Bustamante in the 33rd minute of play forced Wellford AFC's goalkeeper Freddy Proctor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antony Cooke kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Bryan Powers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wellford AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Port Carbon FC the free kick. A collision led to Wellford AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Bryan Powers hit a great ball. Frank Palmer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Randolph Meyer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freddy Proctor having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cedric Puckett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cedric Puckett charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cedric Puckett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eric Levy scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duncan Miner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eric Levy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Miner having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eric Levy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duncan Miner was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Duncan Miner came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Wellford AFC's Antony Cooke. But to his dismay, Antony Cooke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Raul Bravo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Duncan Miner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wellford AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Wellford AFC's zone, Cedric Puckett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Proctor came out of the goal and Cedric Puckett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddy Proctor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cedric Puckett, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Young Bustamante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Freddy Proctor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Young Bustamante succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 93rd playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Young Bustamante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Port Carbon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Young Bustamante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Proctor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
