Spectators: 7663 (Terracing: 5748, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Darell Rankin kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Willis Weaver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Owens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Green Victory FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Lane to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Green Victory FC's Xavier Newsome got control of the ball when Dallas Knapp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wes Hoskins had several of the Green Victory FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Xavier Newsome as he didn't even see the shot coming. 2-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Darell Rankin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Willis Weaver notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Galliano's Cody Owens. Cody Owens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the match, Green Victory FC's goalkeeper Xavier Newsome had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wes Hoskins. Xavier Newsome showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darell Rankin in the 32nd minute of the match. Galliano's Darell Rankin got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Willis Weaver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willis Weaver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Galliano's Cody Owens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Galliano from getting a goal against them. After recieving a nice pass, Green Victory FC's Donovan Glover tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Willis Weaver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Owens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wes Hoskins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Darell Rankin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xavier Newsome was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Xavier Newsome took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darell Rankin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wes Hoskins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Newsome having to interfere. In the 70th minute of the match Francisco Whaley sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xavier Newsome skillfully saved the ball. Willis Weaver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Darell Rankin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Guerrero's late challenge caught a Green Victory FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Guerrero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Green Victory FC booed when Galliano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Green Victory FC's Willis Weaver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cody Owens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute Willis Weaver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cody Owens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willis Weaver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonah Hare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Galliano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Green Victory FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
