In the 10th match minute, Galliano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wes Hoskins to maneuver through the defense. Domenico Betts kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Freddy Thomason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. Darell Rankin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Ruff having to interfere. Darell Rankin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eusebio Ruff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cody Owens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Thomason, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darell Rankin to make the kick off. Rene Stroud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Cody Owens made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Galliano's zone, Rene Stroud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cody Owens came out of the goal and Rene Stroud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Whaley lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 60th minute, one of Galliano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Galliano. In the 63rd minute, Rubin Cavazos made a precise shot to the right of Cody Owens. Galliano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Rene Stroud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cody Owens having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolf Richey during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nicollet FC's Rolf Richey got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Quinton Grubb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Stroud took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cody Owens. Cody Owens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When Ezra Cates fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galliano's protests and gave Ezra Cates a yellow card for diving instead. Ezra Cates kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Freddy Thomason in the 83rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Galliano getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dallas Knapp hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Nicollet FC's Rubin Cavazos tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cody Owens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Thomason, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Nicollet FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
