In the 31st minute of the match Wilbur Miranda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ben Cabrera skillfully saved the ball. Miles Madrid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Conner, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Despite being the better team, Citizens FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
