Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sol Chin got the match started through his kick off. In the 9thth minute of the game Kareem Matthews who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lindenhusrt Foxes's Jake Ogden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Kareem Matthews came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Defiance FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kareem Matthews couldn't finish the play. After 17 minutes, Fletcher Herman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lindenhusrt Foxes and the Defiance FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kareem Matthews shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 26 minutes into the match, Defiance FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sol Chin came free, but Thad Britton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jake Ogden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melvin French in the 28th minute of play. Jake Ogden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kareem Matthews in the 33rd minute of the match. Defiance FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Winfred Lord scored to the left of an out of position Thad Britton, making the score, 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kareem Matthews stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. During the 63rd minute of the match Fletcher Herman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fletcher Herman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Defiance FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 65th minute of the game, when Stanley Goldstein after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Lindenhusrt Foxes's goal. Stanley Goldstein was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Melvin French received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jake Ogden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Winfred Lord mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lindenhusrt Foxes and the Defiance FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kareem Matthews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Ogden having to interfere. Melvin French kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Thad Britton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Patel, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Kareem Matthews recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kareem Matthews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gary Chappelle got free with Jake Ogden in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jake Ogden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kareem Matthews, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Despite being the better team, Defiance FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
