Spectators: 7588 (Terracing: 5754, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 70) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bill Benton got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Margate's Lyle Hickey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nathanial Cano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Kory Comer struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Nathanial Cano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Margate. Bill Benton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. DeAndre Ramsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kory Comer in the 14th minute of play forced Chispita FC's goalkeeper Nathanial Cano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Norwood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kory Comer in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathanial Cano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute Kory Comer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathanial Cano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Adkins kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Nathanial Cano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyle Hickey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kory Comer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nathanial Cano having to make a save. Bill Benton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. DeAndre Ramsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lyle Hickey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nathanial Cano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. When Karl Norwood came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Chispita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Norwood couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Bill Benton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Chispita FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Margate were winning 0-1.

Nathanial Cano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kory Comer in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Jefferson McLeod sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but DeAndre Ramsey skillfully saved the ball. Lyle Hickey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathanial Cano having to interfere. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Chispita FC. Lanny Andrews stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving DeAndre Ramsey. 1-1. In the 71st match minute, Margate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasey Fitzgerald to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Karl Norwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but DeAndre Ramsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lyle Hickey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyle Hickey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Lyle Hickey fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nathanial Cano, passed just outside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Adkins during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karl Norwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. DeAndre Ramsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DeAndre Ramsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Benton in the 91st minute of play. With a little luck, Chispita FC's Nathanial Cano got control of the ball when Lyle Hickey tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Lyle Hickey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margate's supporters rose to their feet, but Lyle Hickey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nathanial Cano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
