The MacArthur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charlton Lopes should have stopped the shot. Charlton Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavin Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blue Crystal's goalkeeper Raphael Kerr, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lorenzo Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clayton Jimenez got free with Charlton Lopes in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Foster McFadden to make the kick off. Blue Crystal's Raphael Kerr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Foster McFadden in the 64th minute of play. Raphael Kerr came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by MacArthur's Rosario Mullins. But to his dismay, Rosario Mullins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 70 minutes into the game, Rosario Mullins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Raphael Kerr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Foster McFadden got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Raphael Kerr made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Rosario Mullins sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the game, Saul Croft cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Charlton Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Foster McFadden managed to get in a good position for a shot. MacArthur's supporters rose to their feet, but Foster McFadden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Kerr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Foster McFadden in the 88th minute of play forced Blue Crystal's goalkeeper Raphael Kerr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Foster McFadden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Kerr having to interfere.
