Spectators: 7675 (Terracing: 5757, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) Charlie Wilkins started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jordan Grove in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Willingham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charlie Wilkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Wade Crusher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pennington Gap getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Shaun Starkey hit a great ball. Tyron Hayes kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Willy Ortega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Billy Sewell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ellsworth South FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Sewell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Willingham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Derrick Vang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute Charlie Wilkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wade Crusher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Ellsworth South FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Wilkins came free, but Wade Crusher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ellsworth South FC's Wade Crusher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Ellsworth South FC from getting a goal against them.

51 minutes into the match, Ellsworth South FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Wilkins came free, but Wade Crusher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Grove in the 62nd minute of play forced Pennington Gap's goalkeeper Santiago Willingham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Derrick Vang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pennington Gap's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Jordan Grove scored to the left of an out of position Santiago Willingham, making the score, 1-1. Derrick Vang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Santiago Willingham made a huge save. Derrick Vang who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Santiago Willingham when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Santiago Willingham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordan Grove, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Jordan Grove cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Santiago Willingham was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wade Crusher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Wilkins in the 77th minute of play. Forrest Jernigan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jordan Grove fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Willingham having to interfere. Pennington Gap's Santiago Willingham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordan Grove in the 90th minute of play. Santiago Willingham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordan Grove in the 91st minute of the match.
