Darryl Singletary fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marshall Moon having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Eastridge FC's zone, Brice Dunn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marshall Moon came out of the goal and Brice Dunn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 played minutes Eastridge FC got a freekick which was hit by Ed Barney. Marshall Moon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoffrey Raymond in the 21st minute of play. Ron Guidry hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Eastridge FC got a freekick which was hit by Moses Woodard. Geoffrey Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Eastridge FC booed when Captain America was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Guidry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marshall Moon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoffrey Raymond in the 39th minute of the match. Hayden Honeycutt made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Josh Willoughby sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute Darrell Burris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayden Honeycutt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geoffrey Raymond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hayden Honeycutt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darrell Burris, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Eastridge FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Captain America:s goal. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Captain America. Johnny Knight stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marshall Moon. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Captain America's Ron Guidry got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Captain America had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
