Marshall Moon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy Mobley, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Andre Matthews made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darrell Burris in the 14th minute of play. Bellingham Dolphins's Andre Matthews played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josh Willoughby in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Eastridge FC defense, Mervin Regan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marshall Moon. The Eastridge FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marshall Moon should have stopped the shot. When Ed Barney fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eastridge FC's protests and gave Ed Barney a yellow card for diving instead. Ed Barney kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darrell Burris in the 33rd minute of play forced Bellingham Dolphins's goalkeeper Andre Matthews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bellingham Dolphins's Octavio Geiger got a free kick in the 34th minute. Darrell Burris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Darrell Burris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Eastridge FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bellingham Dolphins were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Guy Mobley made the kick off in the second half. When Josh Willoughby came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Eastridge FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josh Willoughby couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute Guy Mobley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marshall Moon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mervin Regan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eastridge FC's Marshall Moon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guy Mobley in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scott Cegielski in the 68th minute of play forced Bellingham Dolphins's goalkeeper Andre Matthews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Josh Willoughby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andre Matthews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre Matthews took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darrell Burris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Bellingham Dolphins's Mervin Regan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marshall Moon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The Eastridge FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bellingham Dolphins's performance. The match ended with a win for Bellingham Dolphins.
