Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Maurice Gillespie made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 5 minutes, Junior Barnard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosa Melano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Junior Barnard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Rosa Melano's Maurice Gillespie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marshall Moon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Rosa Melano's goal looked a bit too open when Josh Willoughby came free, but Alfred Coffman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Maurice Gillespie fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marshall Moon, passed just outside the right post. Rosa Melano's attack was well implemented in the 17th minute, but when Junior Barnard was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Marshall Moon was a little too slow when Maurice Gillespie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Junior Barnard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurice Gillespie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marshall Moon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Eastridge FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed Barney to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Stuart Walter from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Marshall Moon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marshall Moon made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Junior Barnard sent off a good shot on target. Junior Barnard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darrell Burris was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Maurice Gillespie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eastridge FC's Marshall Moon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Josh Willoughby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Coffman having to interfere. In the 62ndth minute of the game Junior Barnard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eastridge FC's Marshall Moon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eastridge FC's Marshall Moon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Barnard in the 65th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Vance Bonilla put in a rough tackle. In the 71st minute, one of Eastridge FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eastridge FC. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Rosa Melano. Stuart Walter stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marshall Moon. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Rosa Melano's Tyson Strange got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Maurice Gillespie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marshall Moon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rosa Melano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eastridge FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
