In the 16th match minute, North Versailles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Williamson to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Chandler Soccer Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of North Versailles:s goal. The referee gave North Versailles a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Omar Kendrick, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chandler Soccer Club's Renaldo Mueller. 0-2. Russell Winter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Renaldo Mueller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Larson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ignacio Williamson fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Versailles's protests and gave Ignacio Williamson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, North Versailles's Ignacio Williamson got a free kick in the 28th minute. Russell Winter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renaldo Mueller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Larson in the 40th minute of the match. Al Decker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Bowser having to interfere. If Jeff McNally had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeff McNally to make the kick off. Russell Winter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Renaldo Mueller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Larson took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renaldo Mueller. Renaldo Mueller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With 63 minutes on the clock, Tomas Connors commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After having played for 69 minutes, Max Larson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Versailles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Larson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. North Versailles's Calvin Bowser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al Decker in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chandler Soccer Club's zone, Max Larson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaldo Mueller came out of the goal and Max Larson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Max Larson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaldo Mueller having to interfere. Max Larson struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Renaldo Mueller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Versailles. If Ignacio Williamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Max Larson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renaldo Mueller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Ignacio Williamson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. North Versailles played a much better game than Chandler Soccer Club and deserved their victory. The Chandler Soccer Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
