Spectators: 6786 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Darrell Burris got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Ed Barney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aidan Kohler was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eastridge FC's Marshall Moon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Ledford in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Eastridge FC's Ed Barney got a free kick in the 6th minute. Wilson Ledfords short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Marshall Moon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wilson Ledford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marshall Moon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Rob Austin kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Norman Benoit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marshall Moon having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Norman Benoit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marshall Moon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gustavo Herget showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josh Willoughby in the 23rd minute of the match. Gustavo Herget didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Scott Cegielski went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilson Ledford made a kick off. Scott Cegielski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gustavo Herget tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ed Barney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Herget having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Eastridge FC's Darrell Burris slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustavo Herget. That made the score 1-2 after 80 minutes of play. Gustavo Herget made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darrell Burris in the 85th minute of play. Eastridge FC's Marshall Moon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Ledford in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Messer during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
