Owen Crain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgewater SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bellingham Dolphins the free kick. Jamal Barrett kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Lamar Weaver's late challenge caught a Bellingham Dolphins's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 73 minutes of play Edgewater SC's Lamar Weaver was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bellingham Dolphins getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Octavio Geiger hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Timothy Irwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Cahill struck a weak shot in the 78th minute.
