Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Old Bethpage's Elias Montes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Elias Montes came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Old Bethpage fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Montes couldn't finish the play. Al Decker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rufus Ford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff McNally, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Rufus Ford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Al Decker went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute of the match, Merlin Cortez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Renaldo Mueller was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 36th minute, Chandler Soccer Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edmundo Dominguez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Elias Montes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Renaldo Mueller. That made the score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. Renaldo Mueller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merlin Cortez in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute of the match, Elias Montes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Renaldo Mueller saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeff McNally to make the kick off. Renaldo Mueller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Dominguez in the 53rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Chandler Soccer Club's Jeff McNally slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rufus Ford. That made the score 1-2 after 57 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Dominguez in the 66th minute of play forced Chandler Soccer Club's goalkeeper Renaldo Mueller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Renaldo Mueller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renaldo Mueller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Montes in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Chandler Soccer Club's Al Decker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rufus Ford. Rufus Ford yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Rufus Ford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff McNally, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Chandler Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Emery Robbins. Elias Montes took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renaldo Mueller. Renaldo Mueller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 96th minute, Edmundo Dominguez made a precise shot to the right of Renaldo Mueller. Chandler Soccer Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
