Bella Vista AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Versailles the free kick. In the 8th minute, Diego Cannon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando McCall kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Max Larson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Korey Peralta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The North Versailles fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when North Versailles's Max Larson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 27 minutes, Max Larson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Versailles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Larson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, North Versailles's Mohammad Rose got a free kick in the 30th minute. North Versailles's Calvin Bowser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save North Versailles from getting a goal against them. When Max Larson came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the North Versailles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Larson couldn't finish the play. Max Larson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jed Bouchard having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Russell Winter in the 43rd minute of play forced Bella Vista AFC's goalkeeper Jed Bouchard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half North Versailles were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Russell Winter to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Russell Winter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jed Bouchard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Max Larson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ignacio Williamson in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jed Bouchard, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bella Vista AFC's Jed Bouchard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Bella Vista AFC from getting a goal against them. Russell Winter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jed Bouchard having to interfere. The supporters of Bella Vista AFC booed when North Versailles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Connors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Russell Winter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bella Vista AFC! Bella Vista AFC:s Jed Bouchard showed great skill when he stopped Omar Kendrick:s penalty. With a little luck, Bella Vista AFC's Jed Bouchard got control of the ball when Max Larson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Russell Winter came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the North Versailles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Russell Winter couldn't finish the play. When the match was over North Versailles could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bella Vista AFC throughout the match.
