In the 14th minute Elias Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayden Honeycutt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Dominguez might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hayden Honeycutt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Dominguez ran back to his position shaking his head. Old Bethpage's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Geoffrey Raymond scored to the left of an out of position Rufus Ford, making the score, 1-0. In the 27th minute, Darryl Singletary got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Geoffrey Raymond came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Captain America fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geoffrey Raymond couldn't finish the play. Hayden Honeycutt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Dominguez in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Geoffrey Raymond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geoffrey Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Ford having to interfere. 48 minutes in the game, Darryl Singletary fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rufus Ford having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Montes to strike the kick off in the second half. Elias Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Captain America were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Old Bethpage's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johnny Knight took the corner. In the 60th match minute, Old Bethpage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Galloway to maneuver through the defense. Geoffrey Raymond struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Rufus Ford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Captain America. Hayden Honeycutt made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Edmundo Dominguez sent off a good shot on target. Elias Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hayden Honeycutt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Captain America's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Montes came free, but Hayden Honeycutt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Captain America's Hayden Honeycutt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Montes in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Brice Dunn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Captain America's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Old Bethpage the free kick. If Edmundo Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Old Bethpage's Elias Montes in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Captain America's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Edmundo Dominguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Old Bethpage's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Dominguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hayden Honeycutt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Elias Montes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Edmundo Dominguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Hayden Honeycutt made a huge save. Captain America's Hayden Honeycutt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Captain America from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, Old Bethpage's goal looked a bit too open when Geoffrey Raymond came free, but Rufus Ford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Barger's late challenge caught a Captain America's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Barger helped the player get up and apologised. Osvaldo Barger kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Captain America's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
