An unexpectedly hard shot by Casper Kruse in the 17th minute of play forced Paranaense Soccer Club's goalkeeper Luciano Rushing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Rushing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trey Hinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Rushing came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Club Llobregat's Casper Kruse. But to his dismay, Casper Kruse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Casper Kruse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Club Llobregat's supporters rose to their feet, but Casper Kruse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Rushing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sporting Club Llobregat's Trey Hinson, in the 28th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Club Llobregat. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sporting Club Llobregat! The goalkeeper, Kelly Pierre, was totally fooled by Paranaense Soccer Club's Ivan Pennington, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Paranaense Soccer Club's zone, Trey Hinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Rushing came out of the goal and Trey Hinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Asher Benjamin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Javier Beckman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kelly Pierre, passed just outside the right post. The Paranaense Soccer Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sporting Club Llobregat were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Young Hubbard to strike the kick off in the second half. Javier Beckman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kelly Pierre having to make a save. In the 56th minute, Javier Beckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Llobregat's Trey Hinson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Rushing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casper Kruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Luciano Rushing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sporting Club Llobregat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trey Hinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Llobregat's Trey Hinson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Rushing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Casper Kruse got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Casper Kruse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Luciano Rushing made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Paranaense Soccer Club's Ivan Pennington got a free kick in the 91st minute. Sporting Club Llobregat's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
