A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Llobregat's goalkeeper Kelly Pierre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Whitney Esquivel. Xeneize FC's Sonny Alfaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Kruse in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Trey Hinson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sonny Alfaro was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Club Llobregat's zone, Whitney Esquivel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kelly Pierre came out of the goal and Whitney Esquivel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sporting Club Llobregat getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Homer Borden hit a great ball. Whitney Esquivel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Thaddeus Sheldon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Club Llobregat's zone, Thaddeus Sheldon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kelly Pierre came out of the goal and Thaddeus Sheldon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thaddeus Sheldon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kelly Pierre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Xeneize FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey Jeffries to maneuver through the defense. Casper Kruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Alfaro having to interfere. Sonny Alfaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Ventura in the 64th minute of the match. After 66 minutes, Diego Pettit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Club Llobregat and the Xeneize FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Llobregat's Diego Pettit got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Thaddeus Sheldon came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Xeneize FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thaddeus Sheldon couldn't finish the play. Sporting Club Llobregat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thaddeus Sheldon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Kelly Pierre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Whitney Esquivel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Xeneize FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sporting Club Llobregat had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
