Tyron Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Loki s Guards's goal looked a bit too open when Curt Dorsey came free, but Ulysses Proctor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Saul Chase managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loki s Guards's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Chase was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamel Dupre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Loki s Guards booed when Pelicans SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sears didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Fred George shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jamel Dupre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Curt Dwyer got free with Ulysses Proctor in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loki s Guards's Ulysses Proctor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Loki s Guards from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Curt Dorsey in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulysses Proctor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulysses Proctor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Curt Dorsey's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Loki s Guards's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Curt Dwyer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Curt Dorsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curt Dwyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Proctor having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Curt Dorsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred George was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Pelicans SC's Reuben Rasmussen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulysses Proctor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Curt Dorsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Proctor having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Tyron Johnson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loki s Guards's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pelicans SC the free kick. After 73 played minutes Loki s Guards got a freekick which was hit by Tyron Johnson. In the 74th minute, Curt Dorsey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pelicans SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Garry Murillo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Devin Conley charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Devin Conley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pelicans SC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Devin Conley hit a great ball. Jamel Dupre was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fred George. When Reuben Rasmussen fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelicans SC's protests and gave Reuben Rasmussen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pelicans SC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Reuben Rasmussen hit a great ball. Garry Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamel Dupre having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pelicans SC fully deserved thier win.
