Ellinwood FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casper Kruse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Clayton Bentley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Truman Baez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trey Hinson in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Trey Hinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Truman Baez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Ventura kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Clayton Bentley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Kruse took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Truman Baez. Truman Baez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Johnnie Whitlock hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Sporting Club Llobregat's Trey Hinson got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Diego Pettit took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Truman Baez to make any attempt to save it. Kelly Pierre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Bentley, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Julio Ventura hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Lee Barnhart's late challenge caught a Sporting Club Llobregat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lee Barnhart helped the player get up and apologised. Kelly Pierre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clayton Bentley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Trey Hinson made the kick off in the second half. Casper Kruse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kelly Pierre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Bentley in the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Casper Kruse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Club Llobregat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casper Kruse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Casper Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Ellinwood FC's goal looked a bit too open when Casper Kruse came free, but Truman Baez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Casper Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lee Barnhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kelly Pierre having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Club Llobregat's zone, Lee Barnhart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kelly Pierre came out of the goal and Lee Barnhart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanh Metzger's late challenge caught a Sporting Club Llobregat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanh Metzger helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Ellinwood FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanh Metzger to maneuver through the defense.
