Ignacio Bachman didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 3rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 10th minute Reyes Andrews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Fugate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonah MacDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Fugate having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colin Tackett in the 27th minute of play forced Roscoe FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Bachman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Rhett Kimbrough fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roscoe FC's protests and gave Rhett Kimbrough a yellow card for diving instead. 30 minutes in the game Van Simmons got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Maurer got free with Ignacio Bachman in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Colin Tackett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Colin Tackett dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ignacio Bachman, 2-0. With his leg Ignacio Bachman managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Bronx Bombers FC's Eusebio Maurer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 44 minutes into the game, Colin Tackett recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ignacio Bachman. Colin Tackett showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

J.C. Riker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Jonah MacDonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roscoe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonah MacDonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Junior Fugate breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reyes Andrews in the 75th minute of play forced Bronx Bombers FC's goalkeeper Junior Fugate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Roscoe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Colin Tackett came free, but Ignacio Bachman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eusebio Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ignacio Bachman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Maurer in the 94th minute of play. After 94 minutes, Sheldon Fuller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roscoe FC and the Bronx Bombers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Roscoe FC got a freekick which was hit by Sheldon Fuller. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bronx Bombers FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Roscoe FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
