After 18 minutes, Guy Arden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Osteraker and the Bronx Bombers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Guy Arden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Van Simmons was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bronx Bombers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Osteraker the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bronx Bombers FC's Van Simmons got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Odell Engle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Junior Fugate was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Jarvis McCollum came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Bronx Bombers FC's Eusebio Maurer. But to his dismay, Eusebio Maurer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Colin Tackett put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jarvis McCollum. In the 43rd match minute, IFK Osteraker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bronson Bannister to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarvis McCollum having to interfere. The IFK Osteraker players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bronx Bombers FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Colin Tackett to make the kick off. Jarvis McCollum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colin Tackett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Odell Engle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Fugate having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, IFK Osteraker's goalkeeper Jarvis McCollum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Maurer. In a very dangerous position, a player in IFK Osteraker fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Van Simmons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarvis McCollum having to interfere. If Eusebio Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute, IFK Osteraker's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eusebio Maurer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Randy Farmer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jarvis McCollum. IFK Osteraker's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Junior Fugate didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guy Arden went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score.
