After 3 played minutes North Marysville got a freekick which was hit by Brock Busby. 5 minutes into the game, Jeremiah John was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mipau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Marysville the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mipau's Jeremiah John got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes Mipau got a freekick which was hit by Fred Countess. The supporters of Mipau booed when North Marysville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shannon Ernst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shannon Ernst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Milton Davenport showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Velasco in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, North Marysville's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Galvan came free, but Milton Davenport reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jed Bright's late challenge caught a Mipau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jed Bright helped the player get up and apologised. Jed Bright kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Weston Fair recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Weston Fair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jed Bright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Wyatt Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mipau's Wyatt Pacheco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Mipau from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Fred Countess kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Mipau got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Galvan. Mipau's Wyatt Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weston Fair in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Jeremiah John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milton Davenport came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Mipau's Simon Velasco. But to his dismay, Simon Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Mipau getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jeremiah John hit a great ball. With a little luck, North Marysville's Milton Davenport got control of the ball when Simon Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shannon Ernst came free in the 86th minute and tried to tip the ball over Wyatt Pacheco, but to the joy of Mipau's supporters the ball went over. Weston Fair hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The supporters of North Marysville booed when Mipau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Galvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Ball kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
