The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nelson Lusk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 20 minutes, Santo Marshall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cypress Gardens FC and the CYCLONES FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santo Marshall kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Shelton Lyons shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After having played for 25 minutes, Milan Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Scottie Yeager to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Scottie Yeager got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Milan Guzman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wallace Tharp kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Nelson Lusk was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Shelton Lyons. Milan Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nelson Lusk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Mathews could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Nelson Lusk made a huge save. When Angelo Mathews came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the CYCLONES FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Mathews couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, CYCLONES FC's Angelo Mathews sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nelson Lusk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Milan Guzman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelson Lusk was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Scottie Yeager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Winston having to interfere. Shelton Lyons was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. CYCLONES FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
