When Rickey Mock came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Landfair FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rickey Mock couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Texas Cavaliers's goal looked a bit too open when Rickey Mock came free, but Denver Baird reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scott Gutierrez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregg Ruth made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Franklin Reeves sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Landfair FC's Guy Cage got a free kick in the 31st minute. Landfair FC's Rickey Mock got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But to his dismay, Scotty McManus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
