Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Royal winners's Hal Velez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Royal winners's Bryan Harman got control of the ball when Denver Fox tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute, Glen Tang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Hal Velez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal winners's supporters rose to their feet, but Hal Velez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernie Dean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Royal winners's Hal Velez in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bernie Dean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hal Velez, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin McGill in the 20th minute of play forced tryhard co's goalkeeper Bernie Dean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hal Velez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Preston Abraham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Harman having to interfere. If Hal Velez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, tryhard co was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jessie Ruffin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Hal Velez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rod Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, tryhard co was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jessie Ruffin to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Burrows during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 44 minutes into the game, one of tryhard co:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Preston Abraham to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Royal winners got a freekick which was hit by Vern Watts. In the 57th minute, Merlin McGill ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernie Dean was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 62 minutes of play Royal winners's Vern Watts was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 62 played minutes Royal winners got a freekick which was hit by Vern Watts. Preston Abraham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 minutes of play, tryhard co's Denver Fox made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryan Harman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bryan Harman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Lund in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denver Fox in the 75th minute of play forced Royal winners's goalkeeper Bryan Harman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Royal winners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glen Tang to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in tryhard co's zone, Merlin McGill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernie Dean came out of the goal and Merlin McGill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Denver Fox ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bryan Harman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Bryan Harman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Preston Abraham, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Esteban Landers charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Landers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jessie Ruffin took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryan Harman. Bryan Harman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 96th minute, Royal winners's Hal Velez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hal Velez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Royal winners protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hal Velez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
