Robbie Skinner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oren Thome in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Delta Football Club's Jonathon Hamlin got a free kick in the 13th minute. Oren Thome recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oren Thome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Robbie Skinner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Marlon Smith dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anton Sweet, 1-0. If Marlon Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingo Willett during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Olivehurst getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Domingo Willett hit a great ball. Marlon Smith struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Anton Sweet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delta Football Club. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oren Thome was the one to do the kick off. Olivehurst's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delta Football Club the free kick. A collision led to Olivehurst getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Colby Reaves hit a great ball. Mervin Meza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
