Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Victor Lugo got the match started through his kick off. Steven Gaston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernie Field, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steven Gaston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernie Field in the 9th minute of play. Steven Gaston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernie Field in the 11th minute of the match. Bernie Field sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Victor Lugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcellus Paiges short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Joesph Gregg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bernie Field recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernie Field sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, Reamstown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Deering to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcellus Paige got free with Joesph Gregg in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Lugo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Joesph Gregg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernie Field to strike the kick off in the second half. Rocco Beam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Steven Gaston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Victor Lugo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of August's Joesph Gregg. Joesph Gregg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Reamstown fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Reamstown's Marcellus Paige looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Reamstown's Marcellus Paige in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye August's goalie prevented a goal. August's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Bragg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steven Gaston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Reamstown's goal looked a bit too open when Bernie Field came free, but Steven Gaston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. August's Joesph Gregg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcellus Paige in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Marcellus Paige managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reamstown's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcellus Paige was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joesph Gregg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, August's Patrick Bragg got a free kick in the 89th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Reamstown fans cheered their team off the field, for while August had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
