Lake Goodwin's attentive Renato Diamond managed to snatch the ball when Casper Odom made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Royal winners's goalkeeper Bryan Harman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Glen Tang rounded Lake Goodwin's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Esteban Landers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Merlin McGill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glen Tang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Roger Foley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Renato Diamond with Jarrett Hartley as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 35th minute, Hal Velez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Foley was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 39th minute, Royal winners's Hal Velez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roger Foley. Roger Foley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Glen Tang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Foley having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Merlin McGill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Roger Foley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hal Velez in the 52nd minute of the match. If Hal Velez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lake Goodwin's goalkeeper Roger Foley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roger Foley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hal Velez in the 59th minute of play. Hal Velez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merlin McGill might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Foley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merlin McGill ran back to his position shaking his head. Rod Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Roger Foley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hal Velez fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 73rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Lake Goodwin's Roger Foley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hal Velez in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glen Tang during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Royal winners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glen Tang to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Esteban Landers notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Lake Goodwin's Roger Foley. Roger Foley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leland Glover kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lake Goodwin. The referee gave Royal winners a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hal Velez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lake Goodwin's Roger Foley. 7-0. Roger Foley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hal Velez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Foley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hal Velez's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Hal Velez put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roger Foley. Roger Foley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merlin McGill in the 97th minute of the match.
