Hal Velez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gary Toth having to interfere. Gary Toth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Esteban Landers showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Glen Tang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gary Toth. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. Royal winners's Bryan Harman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymundo Echols in the 32nd minute of play. Gary Toth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hal Velez's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Hal Velezs short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Gary Toth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Merlin McGill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 46 minutes, Glen Tang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal winners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glen Tang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Hal Velez made the kick off in the second half. Hal Velez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gary Toth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Glen Tang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gary Toth having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, one of Royal winners:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Bryan Harman, was totally fooled by Newtown Grant FC's Kenneth Elliott, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Newtown Grant FC's Gary Toth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin McGill in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, Royal winners's Bryan Harman got control of the ball when Gregory Benoit tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Merrill Holder during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute, one of Royal winners:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Royal winners. In the 82nd match minute, Newtown Grant FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Lawler to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Tang in the 84th minute of play forced Newtown Grant FC's goalkeeper Gary Toth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Royal winners were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Newtown Grant FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hal Velez took the corner. Hal Velez made a great header on Royal winners's corner, it was just that Newtown Grant FC's Gary Toth managed to reach the ball for a save. Glen Tang took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gary Toth. Gary Toth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Royal winners's Esteban Landers got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glen Tang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 100th minute, Glen Tang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Royal winners were the better team. Royal winners's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
