Spectators: 7558 (Terracing: 5777, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 10) Berwick AFC's Art Pulliam started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rocco Beam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boyd Ludwig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernie Field in the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rocco Beam got free with Boyd Ludwig in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boyd Ludwig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernie Field, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to August getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Pat Cordero hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Art Pulliam in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joesph Gregg saved August from getting behind. In the 28th minute Bernie Field shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyd Ludwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dante Gill came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Berwick AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Gill couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in August's zone, Art Pulliam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joesph Gregg came out of the goal and Art Pulliam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joesph Gregg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Art Pulliam in the 42nd minute of play. Joesph Gregg came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Berwick AFC's Dante Gill. But to his dismay, Dante Gill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Art Pulliam in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joesph Gregg saved August from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernie Field made a kick off. Art Pulliam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Joesph Gregg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Art Pulliam came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Berwick AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Art Pulliam couldn't finish the play. Art Pulliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Joesph Gregg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. August's Bernie Field got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joesph Gregg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Gill, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tanner Lopes during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes August got a freekick which was hit by Tanner Lopes. Boyd Ludwig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernie Field in the 77th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes August got a freekick which was hit by Reyes Tobin. Art Pulliam received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joesph Gregg came out and tried to block the shot, but Art Pulliam slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 91st minute. When the final whistle sounded Berwick AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than August.
