Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Art Pulliam started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivehurst's goalkeeper Anton Sweet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute Colby Reaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyd Ludwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Olivehurst's Colby Reaves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boyd Ludwig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Berwick AFC's zone, Oren Thome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boyd Ludwig came out of the goal and Oren Thome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Art Pulliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Sweet having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Art Pulliam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Sweet was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When Berwick AFC's Art Pulliam in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olivehurst's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Art Pulliam in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Sweet saved Olivehurst from getting behind. Berwick AFC's Boyd Ludwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colby Reaves in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Oren Thome ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boyd Ludwig was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Gill in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Sweet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57thth minute of the game Art Pulliam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olivehurst's Anton Sweet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Gill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Sweet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Art Pulliam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berwick AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Art Pulliam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Sweet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Art Pulliam in the 72nd minute of play forced Olivehurst's goalkeeper Anton Sweet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oren Thome recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Sweet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Forrest in the 83rd minute of the match. If Dante Gill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Art Pulliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Sweet having to interfere. A collision led to Olivehurst getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Mervin Meza hit a great ball. Olivehurst succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Berwick AFC had controlled the match.
