Everett Brock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Gaston having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Kyle Connor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reamstown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saks the free kick. With a little luck, Reamstown's Steven Gaston got control of the ball when Everett Brock tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Lugo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
