Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1380, VIP seats: 120) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vaughn Roche took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Brett Fry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Vaughn Roche reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anton Sweet. The goal made the score 1-0. Vaughn Roche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Sweet having to interfere. Anton Sweet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaughn Roche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaughn Roche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Sweet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Burien's Vaughn Roche got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 minutes, Graham Atkinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivehurst and the Burien players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Olivehurst got a freekick which was hit by Graham Atkinson. Anton Sweet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brett Fry in the 23rd minute. Vaughn Roche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Sweet having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Oren Thome made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Burien's Luis Simon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Filiberto Poe fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burien's protests and gave Filiberto Poe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Filiberto Poe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Burien's Nigel Puckett got a free kick in the 34th minute. George Cummins, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Olivehurst's goalkeeper Anton Sweet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vaughn Roche. After 44 minutes, Domingo Willett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivehurst and the Burien players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingo Willett hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Colby Reaves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Adalberto Martin came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Burien fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Martin couldn't finish the play. Colby Reaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mervin Meza charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mervin Meza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Olivehurst's Mervin Meza got a free kick in the 54th minute. Vaughn Roche struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Anton Sweet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burien. Mervin Meza kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Burien's Vaughn Roche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Sweet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 63 minutes of play Olivehurst's Mervin Meza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Olivehurst getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Mervin Meza hit a great ball. Anton Sweet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaughn Roche in the 68th minute of the match. Anton Sweet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brett Fry in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Burien's zone, Graham Atkinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Simon came out of the goal and Graham Atkinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Burien's Vaughn Roche in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olivehurst's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Vaughn Roche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olivehurst's Anton Sweet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Vaughn Roche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burien's supporters rose to their feet, but Vaughn Roche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Sweet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brett Fry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Sweet having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Adalberto Martin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
