Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marlon Smith took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Al Webb during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Merlin McGill came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Royal winners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Merlin McGill couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Glen Tang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Jonathon Hamlin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bryan Harman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marlon Smith took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryan Harman. Bryan Harman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Royal winners's Wilton Crowder got a free kick in the 25th minute. Royal winners's Bryan Harman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Barney in the 31st minute of play. Neal Barney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bryan Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Neal Barney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Harman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Hal Velez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robbie Skinner. The goal made the score 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hal Velez made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Delta Football Club! In the 55th minute Merlin McGill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Skinner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Royal winners were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Delta Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hal Velez took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Esteban Landers managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Delta Football Club getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Federico Sampson hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Hal Velez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Delta Football Club's Robbie Skinner didn't even have to move. Robbie Skinner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hal Velez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hal Velez in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robbie Skinner saved Delta Football Club from getting behind. Hal Velez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Glen Tang came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Royal winners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glen Tang couldn't finish the play. Glen Tang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rod Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Royal winners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rod Navarro couldn't finish the play. Hal Velez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Skinner having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Merlin McGill made a precise shot to the right of Robbie Skinner. Delta Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 87 minutes into the match, Hal Velez notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Delta Football Club's Robbie Skinner. Robbie Skinner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Glen Tang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal winners's supporters rose to their feet, but Glen Tang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robbie Skinner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jonathon Hamlin fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Delta Football Club's protests and gave Jonathon Hamlin a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathon Hamlin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Robbie Skinner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hal Velez in the 93rd minute of play. Hal Velez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robbie Skinner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Royal winners players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
