Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thurman Griffith took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Lake Goodwin got a freekick which was hit by Thurman Griffith. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Art Pulliam put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roger Foley. 9 minutes into the game, Timmy Marion threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lake Goodwin's Dominique Caldwell quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 11thth minute of the game Thurman Griffith who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berwick AFC's Boyd Ludwig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Art Pulliam in the 14th minute of play forced Lake Goodwin's goalkeeper Roger Foley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Lake Goodwin's Boyd Ludwig threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thurman Griffith, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lake Goodwin's Elton Stjohn suffered a sore thigh after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Junior Patrick's late challenge caught a Lake Goodwin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Junior Patrick helped the player get up and apologised. Junior Patrick hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thurman Griffith got free with Boyd Ludwig in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thurman Griffith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Boyd Ludwig made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Thurman Griffith left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lake Goodwin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Art Pulliam might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Foley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Art Pulliam ran back to his position shaking his head. Roger Foley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Art Pulliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Berwick AFC's Art Pulliam in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lake Goodwin's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute, Lake Goodwin's Thurman Griffith ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Boyd Ludwig. Boyd Ludwig yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 42ndth minute of the game Art Pulliam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lake Goodwin's Roger Foley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Art Pulliam to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Thurman Griffith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyd Ludwig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Gill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Roger Foley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Art Pulliam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Foley didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. If Art Pulliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Forrest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Roger Foley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Gill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Art Pulliam did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Roger Foley 70 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Dante Gill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Foley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oren Barbour charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oren Barbour the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Oren Barbour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Alley hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Dominique Caldwell placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Roger Foley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Forrest in the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Berwick AFC's Dante Gill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Foley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thurman Griffith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyd Ludwig having to interfere. Berwick AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
