Thurman Griffith in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robbie Skinner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 43 minutes of play, Delta Football Club's Jonathon Hamlin made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Foley was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th match minute, Lake Goodwin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarrett Hartley to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Neal Barney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Roger Foley made a huge save. Roger Foley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathon Hamlin in the 69th minute.
