Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Art Pulliam started the match with the kick off. Bernie Dean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Art Pulliam's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Berwick AFC's Art Pulliam got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernie Dean was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dante Gill showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denver Fox in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boyd Ludwig saved Berwick AFC from getting behind. 14 minutes into the game, Preston Abraham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Boyd Ludwig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19thth minute of the game Art Pulliam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but tryhard co's Bernie Dean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Preston Abraham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berwick AFC's Art Pulliam got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Berwick AFC's Junior Patrick dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Bernie Dean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Art Pulliam's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Berwick AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Denver Fox came free, but Boyd Ludwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Eliseo Forrest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Gill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bernie Dean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Preston Abraham to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Gill in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernie Dean saved tryhard co from getting behind. In the 53rd minute, Denny Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute of the match Dante Gill sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernie Dean skillfully saved the ball. After 54 played minutes tryhard co got a freekick which was hit by Denny Lund. Art Pulliam took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernie Dean. Bernie Dean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 59 minutes into the match, Berwick AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Preston Abraham came free, but Boyd Ludwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. tryhard co's Bernie Dean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Art Pulliam in the 63rd minute of play. Berwick AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Preston Abraham scored to the left of an out of position Boyd Ludwig, making the score, 3-2. After 71 played minutes Berwick AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pat Uribe. Robin Burrows took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Boyd Ludwig. Berwick AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Berwick AFC's Samuel Avery got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Robin Burrows was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cason Roche kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match Dante Gill sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernie Dean skillfully saved the ball. When Junior Patrick came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Berwick AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Junior Patrick couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Art Pulliam in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernie Dean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Berwick AFC's Boyd Ludwig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preston Abraham in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Preston Abraham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berwick AFC's goalkeeper Boyd Ludwig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Denver Fox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyd Ludwig having to interfere. Berwick AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
