The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vernon Baron during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yuri Hermes came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Federico Ortiz could save by the left post. Waylon Paris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glen Enriquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Yuri Hermes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Federico Ortiz. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Stacey Montano took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Ortiz. Federico Ortiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 27th minute, Garrett Turner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Avra Valley's goal looked a bit too open when Jarod Shoemaker came free, but Waylon Paris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avra Valley's Waylon Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen Enriquez in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sirzato United's Guy Booth got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Sirzato United's goalkeeper Federico Ortiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yuri Hermes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Watt in the 38th minute of play forced Avra Valley's goalkeeper Waylon Paris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Jarod Shoemaker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avra Valley's Waylon Paris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Federico Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Hermes in the 41st minute of play. Federico Ortiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yuri Hermes went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Hermes was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Jarod Shoemaker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sirzato United and the Avra Valley players grew even worse after the yellow card. Federico Ortiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stacey Montano went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Avra Valley's Eleuterio Arias was substituted for Stacey Montano. Federico Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Arias in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Yuri Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sirzato United defense, Yuri Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Ortiz. The Sirzato United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Ortiz should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Avra Valley's zone, Donald Watt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waylon Paris came out of the goal and Donald Watt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Avra Valley were awarded a corner. Charlie McGinnis went to the cornerflag to take it. Avra Valley's Ray Whitney got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Federico Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Hermes in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Avra Valley were the better team. Avra Valley's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
