Rigoberto Fleming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Willy Frye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute of the match Adrian Cronshagen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerard Regan skillfully saved the ball. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Cristopher Boggs got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Dinkendoker Brexit FC's zone, Rufus Parker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willy Frye came out of the goal and Rufus Parker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Fleming might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willy Frye. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rigoberto Fleming ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaiah Chaney made a kick off. Willy Frye stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Fleming's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Rufus Parker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Frye having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dinkendoker Brexit FC's Marquis Lange got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Art Bustamante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Rufus Parker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Robin Christian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dodge City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinkendoker Brexit FC the free kick. In the 73rd minute Rufus Parker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Frye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes, Terence Kent mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dinkendoker Brexit FC and the Dodge City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rufus Parker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. John Pina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Gerard Regan made a huge save. The Dodge City FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Dinkendoker Brexit FC to win.
