In the 16th match minute, Cypress was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Vick to maneuver through the defense. Roger Bonds hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Johnnie Lemon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Johnnie Lemon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Bonds in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 52nd minute Rory Clifton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Longoria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes, Lee Cash mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cipiripi FC and the Cypress players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cipiripi FC's Lee Cash got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Jose Longoria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rory Clifton, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Cypress's Jose Longoria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duncan Magee in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Rory Clifton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Longoria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cypress's Hugo Ibarra got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Zackary Thurston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Chu Mo Yong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnnie Lemon. Cipiripi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chu Mo Yong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Roger Bonds managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cypress's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Bonds was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnnie Lemon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th match minute, Cipiripi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rory Clifton to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Cipiripi FC's Duncan Magee slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jose Longoria. That made the score 3-1 after 90 minutes of play.
