Spectators: 8071 (Terracing: 6055, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vince Michel made the kick off which started today's match. Lincoln Herbert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Jewell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Chu Mo Yong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Jewell having to interfere. Jorge Jewell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lincoln Herbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Lucero hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Jose Longoria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Lucero in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Raymundo Haas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cypress's Roger Bonds was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jorge Jewell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chu Mo Yong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Lincoln Herbert got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 29 minutes into the game, Vince Michel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jose Longoria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cypress's Lincoln Herbert got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, Ridgeway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Bannister to maneuver through the defense. Berat Taybars's late challenge caught a Ridgeway's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berat Taybars helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, Ridgeway's Sol Christian tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Ridgeway got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Bannister. Raymundo Haas's late challenge caught a Ridgeway's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymundo Haas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cypress's Raymundo Haas got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Bonds to make the kick off. Jorge Jewell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Mo Yong, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Cypress's goal looked a bit too open when Vince Michel came free, but Jose Longoria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Domingo Paul could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Jose Longoria however easily saved by the left post. 66 minutes into the match, Ridgeway's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Bonds came free, but Jorge Jewell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Lincoln Herbert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Jewell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Cypress's Jose Longoria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Cypress from getting a goal against them. Jorge Jewell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Bonds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Ridgeway's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Bonds came free, but Jorge Jewell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cypress's Berat Taybars got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cypress's zone, Sol Christian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Longoria came out of the goal and Sol Christian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Luke Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 92 minutes, Lincoln Herbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cypress's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lincoln Herbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Bonds in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Jewell saved Ridgeway from getting behind. Cypress's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
