Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 162) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pablo Opilano kicked off to start the match. If Peter Parker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Octavio Connors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Maria Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Connors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaughn Shipman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Opilano in the 20th minute of play. Pablo Opilano scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vaughn Shipman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 25 in the game by Peter Parker from a close distance when the talented Vaughn Shipman managed to make a qualified save. Racing de Carolina's players were relieved. Racing de Carolina's Vaughn Shipman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Opilano in the 28th minute of play. Dalton Klein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Branco having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Pablo Opilano managed to get in a good position for a shot. United States's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Opilano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaughn Shipman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pablo Opilano took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vaughn Shipman. Vaughn Shipman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Pablo Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vaughn Shipman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, 史岚庭 took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Vaughn Shipman to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octavio Hines to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Korey Groves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Vaughn Shipman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pablo Opilano kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Vaughn Shipman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Parker in the 73rd minute of the match. Chad Poe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, 史岚庭 managed to get in a good position for a shot. United States's supporters rose to their feet, but 史岚庭 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaughn Shipman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Chad Poe fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing de Carolina's protests and gave Chad Poe a yellow card for diving instead. Chad Poe kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ward Lilly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Pablo Opilano notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Racing de Carolina's Vaughn Shipman. Vaughn Shipman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute, Weldon Hamlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Opilano in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vaughn Shipman saved Racing de Carolina from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the United States players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
